Astrology expert Pt. Mohan Kumar Dutt Mishra says that after many years, this time there are five Mondays in the month of Sawan. The special thing is that Saavan is starting from Krishna Paksha. Whereas, Shukla Paksha is concluding. The big thing is that Shukla Paksha is starting from Monday 5th August and this paksha is also ending on Monday 19th August. Many auspicious Yogas will also meet this Sawan. According to the Puranas, worship of Bhole Shankar, Abhishek, praise of Shiva and chanting of mantras have special significance in Saavan.
