8 year old girl murdered after gangrape, ‘brutals’ tried to hide the crime…

Nandyal. An 8 year old girl was gang-raped and murdered by three minor boys in Nandyal, Andhra Pradesh. After committing the murder, these three accused teenagers threw the girl’s body in a canal. This incident took place in Muchumri village on Sunday and came to light on Wednesday. According to the police, the boys accused of rape are in the age group of 13-17 years. These boys studied in the same school with the victim girl. The three accused took her to a deserted place on the pretext of taking her to a new playground, raped her and then murdered the innocent girl.

It was told that in order to cover up their heinous crime, the accused murdered the girl and threw her body in a local canal. The girl whom these three teenage accused made a victim of their lust, is said to be a third class student. The father of the victim girl had filed a missing complaint on Sunday. The police have taken all three accused into custody and are investigating the case on the basis of the confession of one of the accused.

The girl’s body has not been recovered yet. Local people are protesting demanding strict punishment to the accused. It is noteworthy that the number of heinous crimes like rape and murder committed by teenagers in the country is increasing rapidly. Due to this, a dilemma has arisen before the police and legal agencies. Police and legal agencies are successful to a great extent in their efforts to bring adult criminals to book in cases of heinous crimes. But this is not possible in the cases of minor criminals. After this, after serving a minor punishment, they become free again.
