Threads on Thursday announced the release of three new features. Meta-owned social media platforms are now facilitating users to schedule an insight from personal posts, as well as adding a creative touch during reposting and quotation-sharing on the platform. While the first two features are being widely released, the company said that the markup tool would be introduced in select areas before expanding globally. These features came exactly one month after threads allowed users to re -post the images without quoting the original post.
Threads are presenting new features
One in PostThe Instagram chief Adam Moseri, who also oversee Threads, announced new facilities on the platform. He highlighted that these new features – post scheduling, post insights and markups – the purpose is to allow users to manage their presence on the platform.
There has been a highly requested feature on the post-schedueling platform. Till now, users had no way to schedule a post in the future. However, threads are now solving this problem by adding features. The option to schedule a post can be found within the three-point menu (up-to-day) on the composer screen. With this, users can now manually choose the date and time when they want to live the post.

Before the post is published, it will appear in the user’s draft folder and can be edited and removed. Gadgets 360 staff members were able to detect this feature and seem to allow users to schedule 76 days (or two months 17 days) first.
Subsequently, post insights for all threads users are also being released. Visible on both mobile apps and web clients, it will allow users to see metrics such as views and interactions about each post. A new Insight icon has been added to the top of the profile tab. In this screen, the users can select the date limit and tap see all All posts and their insight to see. Users can also order the post on the basis of view, likes or answers.

The final new feature for the threads users is the markup tool. Whenever users repost or coat a post on the platform, the new tool opens. It now allows users to add highlights, red arrows or doodle objects to add creative bends to the original post. In particular, this feature is currently available in only a few countries, and is likely to be sent globally in the future.
