In a heartfelt display of the soft culture that plagues bilateral relations between the two countries, an Indonesian delegation sang the famous Bollywood song ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ at a banquet hosted by President Drupadi Murmu on Saturday.

The delegation, hosted in honor of President Prabowo Subianto at the Presidential Palace, included senior Indonesian ministers.

The title track of the film of the same name – ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee in lead roles. Karan Johar’s directorial debut was a huge blockbuster both in India and abroad. The song, composed by Jatin Lalit and sung by Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik, was a big hit among the audience and is still captivating people.

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is on his first state visit to India. He will grace the 76th Republic Day celebrations today in Kartvya Path as its chief guest.

Indonesia’s Linggunelas Kanka Lokanta, a 190-member ensemble from the Indonesian Military Academy (AKMIL), at the 76th Republic Day celebrations, symbolizing discipline and military tradition.

This unique blend of military music and great values ​​reflects the spirit and honor of the Academy.

Earlier on Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a meeting with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at Hyderabad House in Delhi.

The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership with a focus on areas such as defence, security, maritime domain, economic relations and people-to-people connections.
