Earlier, Goyal shared a job posting on X and LinkedIn and wrote, “Update: I am looking for a Chief of Staff for myself.”
Located at the headquarters of Zomato in Gurugram, this role is ideal for someone with “a lot of general knowledge, sympathy, grade A communication skills, zero eligibility”, but there is no significant prior experience.
When serving in this role, the person will get the privilege of working with Goyal as well as “learning 10 times more than a 2-year degree from a top management school”.
However, the job description states that there will be no salary for this role for the first year; Rather, the candidate will have to pay ₹ 20 lakh for this occasion.
It states, “100% of this ‘fee’ will be paid directly to feeding India as a donation.”
Zomato has also promised to donate ₹ 50 lakh for the charity of candidate’s choice.
It said, “From the second year, we will start giving you the general salary (definitely more than ₹ 50 lakh, but which we will only talk about at the beginning of the second year).”

However, many people did not like the job offer on social media, who expressed dissatisfaction in the comment section.
