The decision came after a series of surprise inspections in 27 schools associated with the board.
The purpose behind these inspections was to find out that CBSE-linked school affiliation and the examination sub-laws were operated in compliance with the norms of regular attendance of students.
Dummy and Non-Attending Schools weaken educational integrity, the CBSE said and issued notices to the schools issued, allowing 30 days to respond.
Surprises related to the irregularities observed during inspections were communicated through a report about the important comments of inspection committees. Later, the answers presented by the concerned schools were examined in detail.
In its press release, CBSE referred to the practice of dummy/non-atting admission, “The main mission of school education compromises the basic development of students.”
To address such an issue, the board is taking decisive action to combat the spread of dummy schools. It wants to send a clear message to all affiliated institutions to “oppose the greed to accept dummy or non-comfortable entry.”
“The board will constantly try to ensure that schools follow valid and moral educational practices,” it said.
