This company holds the biggest stake in the two-wheeler market after hero.
New Delhi. The popularity of Honda’s two-wheelers in India has long been maintained. Looking at the data of November 2024, the company recorded a total of 4,32,888 units in the domestic market. The figure is 2.90% higher than the November 2023 last year, when 4,20,677 units were sold. This increase of the company clearly reflects the trust on Honda brand among customers.
Honda performed brilliantly last month on the export front. According to Rushlane report, the company exported a total of 39,861 units of two-wheelers in November 2024. This figure is 46.70% more than the export of 27,172 units in November 2023 last year. This increase has brought Honda to a stronger position in the global market.
The condition of sales by mixing domestic and export
Honda sold a total of 4,72,749 units in the last month, including domestic markets and exports. This is a better performance than the 4,47,849 units recorded in the same month as last year.
However, the decline in monthly sales was observed. In October 2024, Honda sold 5,53,120 units in the domestic market, while in November 2024 the figure was reduced to 4,32,888 units. This decline was 21.74% on a monthly basis.
Contribution of popular models
Popular Honda’s popular models such as Activa, Shine, Dio, Unicorn, Dream and SP 160 are playing a major role in the Indian market. The strong demand of these models has helped the company perform well in both domestic and international markets.
Despite sales fluctuations, Honda’s two-wheelers still remain a favorite among Indian customers. The company’s continuous increasing export growth and demand for new models keep it ahead in the market.
