ICAI President Dheeraj Khandelwal shared on X that three women candidates – Parami Umesh Parekh, Tanya Gupta and Vidhi Jain are at the top of the CA Inter September exam.

“This is a powerful sign of how the profession is changing. Currently, women make about 30% of ICAI membership, a number that is expected to increase by 50% in the next five years. Pragati has been notable: In 2008, there were only 8,000 female members. By 2018, the number had increased to 80,000, and today, it has surpassed 125,000, ”he shared.

He said that only more than the number, this trend shows how the account is becoming a top career option for women, often crosses the interest among men. It is a sign of more and more opportunities, changing perceptions and a future where women lead with expertise and dedication.

The ICAI CA Foundation Examination was held on 13, 15, 18 and 20 September. CA Inter Group 1 exam was held on 12, 14 and 17 September and CA Inter Exam Group 2 exams were conducted on 19 September 21 and 23.
