PM Modi called Yogi Adityanath after an incident like a stampede at Maha Kumbh.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reviewed the situation in Maha Kumbh in a call after an incident with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and called for immediate support measures.
Official sources said that PM Modi is constantly monitoring the situation and has talked to Yogi Adityanath twice till now.
“PM Modi spoke to Yogi ji about the situation at Kumbh Mela, reviewed the events, and called for immediate support measures,” said an official.
Officials said many casualties were feared after a stampede situation in Sangam in the early hours of Wednesday, which were running among millions of pilgrims for a sacred bath on Mauni Amavasya.
In view of the incident, Akhar closed his traditional ‘Amrit Snin’ for Mauni Amavasya, even a large number of devotees took a dip in the Sangam and other ghats in the fair area.
