Eight outgoing AAP MLAs joined the BJP here on Saturday, with only four days to go to the Delhi Assembly Poll on 5 February. All eight MLAs resigned from the primary membership of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday, in which the alleged corruption and the reasons for the deviation of the party led by Arvind Kejriwal devoted their ideology.
All eight MLAs were denied pole tickets by AAP this time.
Among the MLAs joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Vandana Gaur (Palam), Rohit Mehrolia (Trilokpuri), Girish Soni (Madipur), Madan Lal (Kasturuba Nagar), Rajesh Rishi (Uttam Nagar), BS June (20 June ( Byzwasan), Naresh Yadav (Mehrali) and Pawan Sharma (Adarsh ​​Nagar).
After resigning from AAP, he said that he had also sent his resignation letter to the Speaker, leaving the membership of the House.
Former AAP MLA Vijendra Garg and several other leaders of the party led by Kejriwal also joined the saffron dress, which was involved in the presence of Baijayant Panda in the presence of its national vice -president and in -charge of Delhi BJP, and state president Virendra Sachdeva.
Welcoming MLAs and leaders for BJP, Panda said that this is a “historic” day because he has got rid of “Aapda” (disaster) and hopefully after the 5 February elections, Delhi too Will be freed.
The 70 -member Delhi Assembly is scheduled to go to the elections on 5 February, with the results to be declared on 8 February.
