New Delhi:
A nameless island within the Victoria Island in the Nanavut region of Canada has the rare pride of being the world’s largest island-in-e-on-e-iland-each-one-dominant-one-dominated
The satellite image by Operational Land Imazor (OLI) on Landsat 8 confirmed the presence of this unique landforms. Here’s how it goes: The center has a sehors -shaped island, which is about 1,000 feet wide, located within a small, anam lake. This lake itself is part of a large island, which sits inside a long, finger -shaped lake, about 90 kilometers from the southern coast of Victoria Island.
Guinness World Records has officially given this place the biggest recognition of its kind. Given that Victoria Island-also known as “kitline” by Inute-is the eighth largest island in the world and is part of the giant Canadian Arctic Islands, the possibility of unseen landforms of a similar nature. Located with thousands of islands and lakes of millions of age, the region remains largely unexplained.
Many recurrent islands and lakes, which means the landforms that follow a pattern of the islands or the islands within lakes, have been identified using satellite imagery, within lakes. However, due to the extreme foresight of this Arctic landscape, it is highly likely that no human has ever set foot on this particular island. As mapping technologies and satellite images continue to improve, the discovery of more unusual landforms may still be further further.
Earlier, NASA satellites observed a temporary island emerging from the coast of Azerbaijan in the Caspian Sea, disappearing within two years. Landmas, formed by the eruption from the Kumani Bank Mud Jwalamukhi, was first seen in early 2023 and completely disappeared by the end of 2024. The explosion, which lasted for a few days in February 2023, was one of many. Area, dating back in 1861 with similar incidents.
