Honor Pad X9a Allegedly Listed on TDRA, Launch Could Be Imminent

Honor unveiled its Honor Pad X8A tablet in India with Snapdragon 680 SoC and 8,300mAh battery in September last year. The Chinese tech brand is set to release the Honor Pad X9A as the successor of last year’s model. While details for Honor Pad X9A have not been formally revealed, the tablet has allegedly seen on the website of Telecom and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA). The listing indicates the Wi-Fi-only variants of the tablet and suggests that a launch may be adjacent.

It is said that undeclared honor has appeared pad X9A (Through Gizmochina on Tdra website with model number ELN2-W29. The Wi-Fi-Kaval version of the tablet allegedly passed through the Certification Forum. In addition to the name and model number, the listing does not include any other details about the upcoming Honor Tablet.

Honor Pad X9A is likely to be brought with upgradation to Honor Pad X8A. The latter arrived in India in September last year with a price tag of rupee. 12,999 for the only 4GB RAM + 128GB storage option. It is introduced in a space gray shade.

The Honor Pad X8A runs on Android 14-based magicos 8.0 and has an 11-inch full-HD (1,200×1,920 pixel) screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, and 4,000 notes peak shine levels. The screen has low blue light certification and timer-free certification that are from Tüv Rheinland. It runs with 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage on 6Nm octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset. It carries a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. It consists of a quad-spicker unit supported by the Hi-race audio certificates.

Honor has packed 8,300mAh battery in Honor Pad X8A. It supports the split screen feature and provides connectivity features such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, OTG and more.
