Toma Iquta is set to act in Masmichi Kavabe’s Manga “Oni Ghoshi” in the highly anticipated live-action adaptation. Under the title Damon City, the film will start streaming on 27 February. A trailer and major art released recently offers a glimpse in the film’s intense action and dark theme. Directed and written by SEG Tanaka, known for Melancholic, the film, set against the backdrop of a crime-hit city, examines a recreational story of vengeance. The film has a music score by the famous guitarist Tomyasu Hoti with the dramatic tone of the film.

The trailer exposed the performance of Toma Iquta as Shui Sakata, a hitman, which is on the way to take revenge after a brutal murder of his wife and daughter by masked criminal group Kiman-Gumi. The story comes out in the city of Shinj, where Sakata, after avoiding a gun bullet on the head and awakening from a coma after twelve years, finds himself targeted by the same organization once again. As he fights back, he reveals a deep truth that changes his mission. In the major art, Sakata is holding an ax, which transforms its change into a tireless force of vengeance.
Cast and crew of demon city
Toma Ekut leads a dress artists including Masahiro Higshide, Mio Tanaka, Matsuya Ono, Masanobu Takashima, Ami Tama, Taro Suruga, Mai Kiru, NATO Teck and Takuma Otu. The film is produced by Netflix in collaboration with Amuse and Digital Frontier. Cinematography is handled by Kohei Kato, while the action direction is led by Takashi Tanimoto. Yoshihiro serves as the seven -executive manufacturer.
