Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit the US on 12 February, said sources in the Ministry of External Affairs (Mea). This will be PM Modi’s first visit to America after President Donald Trump’s historic return to the White House.
According to the journey plan, PM Modi will fly to Washington DC after his two -day visit to Paris, sources said, no official announcement has been made yet.
PM Modi will be one of a handful of foreign leaders to visit Washington DC on a bilateral visit within a week of Trump administration coming to power.
PM Modi is traveling to Paris on 10 and 11 February to attend the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit.
If PM Modi goes to America, it will be amid concerns in India on Donald Trump’s immigration and tariff.
