Ayodhya:
Police said on Monday that a Dalit security guard was allegedly killed by some unknown people.
According to the police, the person who died was identified as Dhruv Kumar alias Baichi (60), who was guarding a building under construction.
The incident occurred on the night of Sunday/Monday’s intervention. Kumar was beaten using iron rods and sticks. Police said he was seriously injured and reached a district hospital by the local people, where he died during treatment.
Additional Superintendent of Police Madhuvan Kumar Singh said that a case has been registered against unknown persons and the police is investigating the case.
