Apple on Tuesday released his Invite App as a new way to create and share custom invitations with family and friends for its IPHONE for iPhone. While the ability to make them is restricted to users with icloud+ membership, no one can RSVP, even if they have an Apple account or Apple device. The Invites app allows them to share the invitation, RSVP for shared events, contribute to shared albums, and apple attached to the music music playlist.
In particular, this is a new offering, which Apple did not advertise during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025, where it displayed iOS 18 and all its characteristics. However, the reference for this was reported to be discovered in the latest version of iOS 18.3 beta code. Now, it has been rolled globally.
Apple invited the app
Cupertino-based technology giants announced their new Invits App in a news room PostApple “describes it as a means of bringing capabilities simultaneously, our users already love and love iPhone, iCloud, and Apple Music, making it easier to plan special events.” It is available as free download from app store for all iPhone models running iOS 18 or later, and can also be accessed on the web by navigating on icloud.com/invites.
To create an event with apple invites, users can choose an image from their library or wallpaper gallery. It also takes advantage of the company’s Apple Intelligence Suit, whose image playground feature can be used to create a custom image, with people with concepts, details and text-based prompts. The company says that Invite text can be held using AI-operated writing equipment.
The app allows the host to easily manage its events. They can share invitations with a link, review the RSVP, and select details that they want to include in preview – within all the invitations. Additionally, guests can see and respond to invitations with new apps, choose which details of their have been shared with others, and can report an event. Alternatively, they can see on the web that does not require iCloud+ membership or even an apple device.
Apple’s invitation app allows participants to contribute to photos and videos in a dedicated shared album within each invitation. Additionally, the soundtrack cuisted for the event through Apple Music can be accessed by guests within the app. It is based on the existing benefits of iCloud+ membership, including extended collection, private relay, my email, homcomit safe video and custom email domains.
