As anxiety on a potential American clampdown on the H1B visa increases, sources have explained the CNBC-Tv18 about the trend of migration for skilled Indian professionals in various countries and transferring emerging job opportunities.

More than 500 MEA-category recruitment agencies are facilitating placement in high-demand areas, with increasing interest in Europe and Middle East.

According to India’s National Career Service Portal, data from 2022 to 2024 has exposed the UAE as the top foreign employers of Indian workers in infrastructure, tourism and services, followed by Israel.

Beyond traditional sites, emerging job markets for Indian professionals include Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar such as Japan, Germany, Australia, Finland, South Africa, Malaysia, Canada, Turkish and Gulf Nations.

Foreign job term manufacturing, healthcare, IT, construction, hospitality and most demanded areas for logistics.

Global recruitors prioritize fresh graduates and efficient workers on temporary fare, dominating job vacancies with contracted roles. However, distance work and part -time opportunities are limited.

Some major recruitment agencies handle the bulk of foreign placements, revealing interesting trends in skill levels and educational qualifications. Demand for semi-skilled labor has increased, especially for ITI, diploma and graduate-level professionals.

Adequate share of job openings is available for candidates with 10th and 12th grade qualification. FY 2024-25 has seen a sharp increase in demand in professional training and ITI certificates, especially in manufacturing and manufacturing for technicians, electricians and machine operators.

While undergraduate and postgraduate job opportunities are available, they are more limited – especially in healthcare, management and IT. However, diploma holders (both Post -10 and Post -12th) are rapidly preferred, indicating a change towards special technical expertise on general educational qualifications.

The demand for IT-lying-attested professionals is also increasing, and the increasing importance of skill-based employment in the global job market has been emphasized.
