Jaipur:

A Class 12 student lost her life, while nine other children suffered serious injuries as the driver of the school bus, in which they were traveling, after which the vehicle was lost, after which she fell from a culvert. .

The accident occurred due to alleged break failure. The bus was carrying at least 30 children.

Soon after the tragic accident, all the injured students were rushed to the hospital, where doctors are closely monitoring their condition.

The driver escaped from the spot immediately after the accident, which was reported on the Jaipur -Bikener Highway (NH -52) near Chomu.

The surprising thing is that the fitness certification of the bus ended in March of the previous year, yet it continued to work on the highway with the students on the board.

The bus had a permit for the Sirsi Road route for Choki Dhani, but was illegally working on a different route.

The accident occurred near Veer Hanuman Marg Kalvart at around 7.30 am on Wednesday.

A crowd quickly gathered on the site.

Sadly, 18 -year -old Komal Deonda, Dabandi (Chomu), daughter of Sheeshupal Deonda from Rampura, lost her life in the accident. She was a Class 12 student.

On receiving the news, the Chomu police reached the spot.

All the injured children were taken to the hospital.

An eyewitness, Anurag Sharma said that a loud sound of the explosion was heard and the bus was overturned.

When he reached the spot with his friends, he found the children crying for help.

Local people convicted the Transport Department for failing to take action against overloaded and unauthorized vehicles in Chomu.

The protesters gathered at the accident site, raised slogans against the Transport Department and demanded strict enforcement of security rules.

Residents said that private buses are working under the guise of school transport without following the necessary security criteria.

A large crowd gathered at the government hospital in Chomu, demanding immediate action against illegally operated vehicles.
