Damoh:
The police officer said two classes IX girls jumped from a bus to Damoh in Madhya Pradesh on Monday morning, after four people, including the driver and conductor of the vehicle, allegedly made obscene comments and worked suspicious.
The official said the girls were injured in the incident and were admitted to the district hospital.
“Two girls study in a school in Tori and were going from Edrota to appear from the bus to appear for their exam. The bus had four persons, including the driver and conductor. The accused made obscene comments, and just Refused to stop.
“The girls were suspected as an accused, besides staring at them, also closed the door behind the vehicle. Fearing their safety, the two girls jumped out of the moving bus,” Dangi said.
Driver Mohammad Aashiq, conductor Bansalal and two others were identified as Hukum Singh and Madhav Ashti under the protection of children of the Indian Justice and Sexual Offenses (POCSO), Additional Superintendent of Police Sandeep Mishra said.
