Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said on Wednesday that he had raised a ragging issue in a college with CM Siddaramaiah at a college in Karnataka and assured of necessary action.
A second year MBBS student of Kashmir, who studied at Al Amin College in Karnataka, has alleged that he was beaten and harassed by a group of senior students.
Omar Abdullah wrote, “I have spoken to @cmofkarnataka @Siddaramaiah Ji about this unfortunate incident. He has assured me that the police have taken an FIR and necessary action. X.
