Other spam protection measures
This functionality adds to the growing list of facilities rolled out by the Mountain View-based technology company in recent months to increase the user’s convenience and reduce the number of spam calls.
This includes a call screen feature on pixel devices that enable agentic function to act as a mediator between collar and receiver. This can detect the name and call of the collar, and can provide the receiver with a transcription of the conversation to help them decide whether they want to take the call or not. To deal with unknown numbers, the reverse look is the feature that allows them to identify the collar and filter the spam call.
