Six Congress MLAs, who were suspended from the remaining period of the budget session of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly on Friday, spent the night in the well of the house.
Govind Singh Dotasara, who was joined by Rajasthan Congress President, Deputy Leader of Opposition, Ramkesh Meena, Amin Kagji, Zakir Hussain Gesawat, Hakim Ali Khan and Sanjay Kumar Jatav, by his party colleagues.
He first staged a sit-in protest against his suspension in the House and then was seen sleeping in bed.

The Rajasthan Legislative Assembly on Friday saw an anarchy on a comment by a minister, responding to a question about hostels for working women, due to which three adjournment of the House and suspension of six Congress MLAs.
During the hour of question, Social Justice and Strong Minister Avinash Gehlot pointed to the opposition and said, “Even in the budget of 2023-24, as always, you have planned after your ‘grandmother’ (grandmother) (working women’s hostels On)
Opposition leader Tika Ram Julie strongly objected to the minister’s comments and demanded that the “unfair word” be removed from the record. Many Congress MLAs then started shouting slogans and moved towards the well.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel, however, said that there was nothing unique about the word ‘Grandma’.

The house was initially postponed for half an hour, then till 2 pm and then till 4 pm. When the proceedings resumed at 4 pm, the government chief whip Jogeshwar Garg said that the opposition has crossed the border.
