Officials said on Thursday that the police of Prayagraj arrested a person for recording videos of women bathing and changing clothes and uploading on YouTube during Maha -Kumbh.
A senior police officer said that during interrogation, the accused allegedly admitted that he filmed videos to achieve social media followers and mudge his content on YouTube.
The accused has been identified as Amit Kumar Jha, a resident of Hooghly district of West Bengal. The official said that a case has been registered against him at Cybercrime Police Station under the relevant provisions of Section 296/79 of BNS and IT Act.
