Shiv Sena Office-Bierner arrested for forcible recovery in Mumbai




Mumbai:

An official on Monday said an official that the police arrested a Mumbai -based Shiv Sena office in the case of forced recovery in December last year.

He said that Lalsingh Rajpurohit, ‘Vibag Paramukh’ (Division Head) Shiv Sena of Shiv Sena was arrested late Sunday night in suburban Kandivali, he said.

A few hours after the police action, Lalsingh Rajpurohit was suspended for the Shiv Sena Shinde faction, which was registered against him in the month of December last year, a police officer said here on Monday.

According to the Kandivali police officer, the accused is identified as Lalsingh Rajpurohit of Shiv Sena Shinde faction. On 28 December, the police had registered a case against Rajpurohit and six of his workers for demanding forcible recovery from a road construction contractor.

On Friday last week, the Kandivali police allegedly filed another FIR against him to forcibly capture a Marathi family shop, in which he is likely to be arrested in the case.

As soon as the incident came to light, Eknath Shinde has ordered the expulsion of Lalsingh Rajpurohit from the Shiv Sena.

After that, Lalsingh Purohit has been suspended from the Shiv Sena. A case was registered against Lalsingh Rajpurohit at Kandivali police station to cheat an elderly couple and grab a shop, further investigation is going on, the official said.
