The new study reveals the unexpected role of the 4F-orbital co-ordinator in running the chemical reaction

The desire for 4F orbitals of lanthnide metals to participate in chemical reactions is rare as their presence in the earth’s crust. A recent study, however, was observed 4F orbital in a serum-based compound, which actively participates in bond formation, triggering a unique chemical reaction.
