JDU Reaction on Bihar Special State Status: The demand for Bihar to get special state status has started again. Minister Ashok Choudhary gave a big statement on Wednesday (July 10) regarding Bihar’s expectations in the upcoming Union Budget. He said that we are optimistic about the budget. The needs of the public will be taken care of.

On the status of special state, Ashok Chaudhary said that the status of special state remains like a package. The state’s contribution which was earlier 10 percent and the Government of India gave 90 percent, has now become 50-50. The Government of India will decide whether our contribution will be reduced and how this formula will be made. We will definitely demand a special package or special state status. He said that if we do not get the status of a special state, if the circumstances do not become such, then we should at least get a special package. We will definitely demand a special package or special state status.
