Delhi Murder Case: In Bhajanpura area of North-East Delhi, some people stabbed a gym owner to death. According to Delhi Police, gym owner Sumit was attacked by some people outside his house in Gamri Extension on Wednesday night. The deceased has been identified as Sumit Chaudhary alias Prem (28). He ran a company providing tourism facilities. At present, the police is busy investigating this incident.
North-East Delhi Deputy Commissioner of Police Joy Tirkey said that Sumit was sitting outside his house late on Wednesday (July 10) night. During this time he had a fight with three to four people. According to Tirkey, the attackers attacked Sumit with a knife and stabbed him several times on his face, neck, chest and stomach. There are marks on his face from being attacked with a knife more than 21 times.
DCP Joy Tirkey said that Sumit was taken to JPC Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. He told that Sumit was earlier convicted in a case of attempt to murder and was out on bail. He said that after the incident, CCTV cameras installed at the spot are being examined to identify the culprits. Sumit is survived by his wife and three year old son.
