Fatehabad, The process of emergence of poisonous snakes continues in Fatehabad, Haryana. Now a snake more poisonous than cobra has been caught here. There was a stir when the country’s most poisonous snake came out of a house in village Kukdanwali. A major accident was averted when the snake was detected in time. Snake man Pawan Jogpal reached the spot, caught the snake and released it in the forest area. This snake of the Common Krait species is considered many times more dangerous and poisonous than the cobra.
Pawan Jogpal told that in the evening he got a call from Mani Ram Gurjar from Kukdanwali and he told that a black snake was seen at the house of his farm labourer. He asked the family to take precautions and reached their house within some time, where after searching, he was surprised to see a small black and spotted snake behind the grain bag lying in the room.
Pawan told that this snake was a very dangerous Common Krait. He said that it was fortunate that it was detected in time, if it had been any longer then this snake could have bitten anyone in the dark and made it its victim and then it would have been difficult to save life.
He told that this snake often remains hidden during the day and comes out for hunting as soon as it gets dark at night. It has been seen many times that it even enters the bed etc. to get warmth, then as soon as the person does any movement, it bites him.
Snake caught, released in wild area
Last year, such a case had come to light in Fatehabad, when a snake of this species was found lying in the bed of a villager. However, the villager had a narrow escape. This snake is very small in size, but agile and is 4 times more poisonous and dangerous than the cobra snake. He immediately caught the snake, after which it was released in the wild area.
