Home Minister Amit Shah Indore Visit: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is reaching Indore on 14th July. Amit Shah is going to visit Madhya Pradesh for the first time after the Lok Sabha elections. Apart from participating in the 51 lakh tree plantation campaign, the Home Minister will inaugurate the PM Shri Excellence College. Preparations for the program have intensified at the police and administrative levels. Police Commissioner Rakesh Gupta and other officers reached the Art and Commerce College and took stock of the preparations. He visited the college campus and took a close look at the security arrangements.
Collector Ashish Singh told that Home Minister Amit Shah is coming to Indore to inaugurate PM Shri Excellence College. Let us tell you that 55 ‘Pradhan Mantri College of Excellence’ is being started in Madhya Pradesh. More than 1500 professors will be appointed in ‘PM Excellence Colleges’. Students will get the facility of adequate teaching staff, library and bus service. At present, a total of 570 government colleges are operating in Madhya Pradesh. The facilities and faculties in these colleges have been upgraded, for which the state government has sanctioned Rs 460 crore.

During his stay in Indore, the Union Home Minister will participate in the tree plantation program under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign. Home Minister Amit Shah will plant saplings in Revati Range of Indore. The state government has started a mega tree plantation campaign. The target is to plant 51 lakh saplings in Indore city. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, who came to Indore on Tuesday, had planted a sapling on Pitru Parvat. Earlier on Monday, Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty, who reached Indore, participated in the tree plantation campaign of the Municipal Corporation.
