Takeuchi said, “By the financial year 2030-31, our production capacity will almost double from 20 lakh units to 40 lakh units. We are planning to supply about 35 percent of the vehicles from Railways in the next 7 to 8 years.

Maruti Suzuki has so far sent more than 20 lakh vehicles through Indian Railways. It delivers vehicles to 20 places in more than 450 cities through railways.
