Nepal Bus Accident: A major accident has occurred in Nepal after heavy rains and landslides. Two buses full of passengers were washed away after being hit by the swollen river, more than 50 passengers have gone missing in the accident. According to Kathmandu News, there were 63 passengers including the driver in both the buses. Both the buses were washed away due to landslide in the swollen Trishuli river on Narayanghat-Mugling road in Simaltal area of ââChitwan district. Chitwan Chief District Officer Inder Dev Yadav has confirmed the accident.
7 Indian citizens and a bus driver died in the accident, while 2 people saved their lives by jumping from the bus. The Chief District Officer said that the rescue team has started removing the debris of the landslide. The country’s Prime Minister Pushpa Dahal Kamal ‘Prachanda’ has expressed grief over the accident in Trishuli river and has given instructions for rescue and relief work on war footing. The Prime Minister has given instructions to search for the people swept away in the river. It is being told that this accident happened on Thursday morning at 3.30 am. It is raining heavily in the accident area. The situation is that the water released from Nepal has affected some districts of India also.
90 people died due to rain
Due to heavy rains all flights from Kathmandu to Bharatpur have been cancelled. This time at least 62 people have died due to heavy monsoon rains in Nepal. If death in this accident is confirmed then the death toll may double. Along with this, at least 90 people are injured in accidents occurring in the rain and apart from the bus accident, 7 other people are also missing.

Due to heavy rains, there has been a lot of damage to property in Nepal. It is being told that 121 houses have collapsed in Nepal due to heavy rains. So far, more than one thousand families have been evacuated to safe places. The effect of rain in Nepal is now being seen in many districts of Uttar Pradesh including Pilibhit. Many districts of Uttar Pradesh have also been affected by the rains in Nepal.
