Kota News Today: Festival season has started across the country. In the coming days, the festivals of Moharram, Rakshabandhan, Ganesh Chaturthi, Dol Gyaras, Tejadashami, Krishna Janmashtami and Anant Chaturdashi will be celebrated by Hindu and Muslim communities in Kota city.
During these festivals, processions, tableaux and processions will be taken out in Kota city, in which a large number of people are likely to gather. In such a situation, the police administration is on alert regarding security arrangements.
Prohibitory orders have been issued under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Defense Code 2023 to maintain communal harmony and law and order in Kota city during the festive season.
‘Kota is communally sensitive’
Under this order it was told that Kota district is highly sensitive from communal point of view. Law, peace and public order situation can be affected during the festival through anti-social elements. Due to which normal life may be adversely affected.
There may be strong possibilities of other incidents happening against the law. Tension may arise between society and different communities, which may result in loss of life and property. With the arrival of political, social and religious persons, there is a possibility of public peace being affected and public peace being affected.
Prohibitive law in force till 10th September
In view of such situation, Section 163 of the Indian Civil Defense Code 2023 has been implemented through District Collector Dr. Ravindra Goswami and Kota District Magistrate. Under this, using the powers given in view of the above situation, the following prohibitory orders have been given in the entire Kota district from 11 July 2024 to 10 September 2024.
There will be a ban on these things
In the order given under Section 163, it has been said that no person can have any dangerous weapon like rifle, revolver, pistol, gun, bow and arrow within the limits of the district.
Apart from this, one cannot roam around in any public place with any kind of sharp weapon like Gandasa, Axe, Sword, Knife, Gupti, Trishul, Bayonet, Lathi, Stone, Brick etc. nor will display such weapons. . During this period, strict monitoring will also be maintained on the operations of illegal vehicles.
They will get discount
This will not apply to the people of Sikh community, Rajasthan Armed Police Force, Civil Police Home Guard, Army, State and Central employees who have been authorized to keep their weapons in connection with law and peace.
During the restrictive period, blind and elderly persons who cannot walk without sticks will be able to take the help of sticks. No person will carry unauthorized explosive substance, dangerous chemical or highly inflammable substance in the district.
During this time, will not use or encourage the use of the said substances. Explosive substances will not be carried or used even in closed containers or glass bottles.
Administration’s eye on social media
No one in the district will exchange unnecessary facts through social media. Due to which any possibility of disturbance of peace and order and public peace may arise. No person will either spread rumors himself or encourage others to commit such acts.
Rules made for crowns and statues
All religious processions will not be able to be taken out through any route other than the prescribed route. On the festival of Moharram, Tajis will be immersed at designated places only. During the manufacturing of Tajis, no material will be used which causes water pollution.
In order to prevent water pollution, making idols made of plaster of Paris and immersing them in reservoirs, rivers, canals, ponds etc. during religious events will be prohibited.
No person, organization or group of people shall raise objectionable or provocative slogans creating any kind of communal hatred. Cable TV will not telecast any such advertisement or program or news which may hurt the sentiments of any person or any particular religion or is likely to disturb law and order.
Ban on songs that disturb harmony
In the order given by the District Collector, it was said that no one will play songs that disturb communal harmony. No vehicle banned under the Motor Vehicle Act will be used during the organization of processions, tableaux and processions in Kota city.
No person will collect any material like sand, stones, bricks, etc. on the roofs of houses along the route of religious processions, which can be used to cause injury to anyone.
Only trained persons will be able to conduct immersion
Apart from trained swimmers and divers, risky entry of persons for bathing or any other purpose will be prohibited in ponds etc.
Only trained personnel will be able to conduct the immersion through boats provided by the administration. Immersion by private boats and untrained persons will be prohibited.
This order has come into effect with immediate effect in the entire Kota district and will remain in effect till September 10, 2024. If this order is violated, action will be taken under the Indian Justice Code 2023.
