People of Delhi and surrounding areas have been facing humid heat for the last few days. If IMD’s forecasts are to be believed, there is a possibility of relief from the sweaty heat on the weekend. Meteorologists have predicted light rain in Delhi-NCR on Saturday and Sunday. At the same time, an alert has also been issued regarding the weather patterns from Himachal Pradesh to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.
Due to monsoon rains, the problem of waterlogging has arisen in most parts of the country. Due to this, flood like situations have arisen at many places, but the people of Delhi-NCR are facing the humid heat. For the last two days, people of Delhi have been expecting rain, but till now the blessings of Lord Indra have not rained. IMD’s predictions are continuously proving wrong. The Meteorological Department has once again predicted rain in Delhi and surrounding areas. On the other hand, rivers are in spate at many places in UP-Bihar and flood-like conditions have arisen in low-lying areas.
Due to the humid heat in Delhi, there is only one request on everyone’s lips – May Lord Indra rain heavily.
Possibility of torrential rain in UP-Bihar
IMD has said that it has been raining intermittently for many days in many districts of UP-Bihar. Due to this, the temperature has reduced there, but water has entered the houses in many places in the low-lying areas. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be torrential rains in both the states for the next four days. IMD issued rain alert from eastern to western UP till July 16. In such a situation, this weekend is going to be rainy for the people of Uttar Pradesh. The weather department has alerted people.
Chances of rain in Delhi on weekend
Even after the south-west monsoon is active, the people of Delhi are troubled by the heat and humidity. According to the Meteorological Department, there may be light rain in Delhi tomorrow i.e. Saturday, July 13. Let us tell you that in the last few days, the forecast issued by IMD for Delhi NCR has not been fulfilled. However, according to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, the weekend will start with clouds and light rain in Delhi. At the same time, the maximum temperature of Delhi is expected to be 35 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 26 degrees.

The situation is bad due to continuous torrential rains in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. In Himachal Pradesh, the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains till July 17. Along with this, an alert has also been issued for heavy rain in different areas in Shimla this weekend. According to IMD, Himachal Pradesh received 81.8 mm rainfall from July 1 to July 12, which is 4 percent less than the normal rainfall of 85.6 mm. At the same time, after the rains in the state last week, a total of 10 roads including four in Shimla, three each in Mandi and Kangra districts are closed. The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of heavy to heavy rain in 7 districts of Uttarakhand, while there is a yellow alert of rain in 6 districts.
