Maha Kumbh stampede: About 25-30 women have been admitted to the Central Hospital established in the fair area.
Many devotees were suspected to be injured after a stampede situation in Maha Kumbh on Wednesday before ‘Amrit Snin’ on ‘Mouni Amavasya’.
According to officials, a stampede -like situation broke due to the huge crowd, which caused many women to suffocate.
The ambulance was quickly sent and the affected women were taken to the hospital for treatment.
About 25-30 women have been admitted to a hospital inside the ground of Maha Kumbh Mela. After the incident, there was a delay in the Amrit Snin or Mass Holi dip in the Ganges.
The Amrit Snin on Mauni Amavasya is the most important ritual of Maha Kumbh. This year, spiritual importance has been added to a rare astronomical alignment on this occasion, known as ‘Triveni Yoga’, which occurs once every 144 years.
