The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of eight executive directors in Public Sector General Insurance Companies (PGICs).
Rashmi Bajpai, currently General Manager (GM) at Oriental Insurance Company Limited (OICL), has been appointed as Executive Director (ED) in the same company.
Amit Mishra, who is currently GM at New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL), has been appointed as ED in OICL. Hitesh Ramesh Chandra Joshi, who is currently GM at GIC RE, has been appointed as ED in the same company.
Radhika CS, currently GM at United India Insurance Company Limited (UIICL), has been appointed as ED in GIC Re. T. Babu Paul, who is currently GM at National Insurance Company Limited (NICL), has been appointed as ED in the same company.

Prasad CG, who is currently GM in NIACL, has been appointed as ED in NIACL. Sunita Gupta, currently GM at Oriental Insurance Company Limited (OICL), has been appointed as ED at UIICL.
Dashrathi Singh, currently GM in Agriculture Insurance Company of India Limited, has been appointed as ED in the same company.
The tenure of the above top officials ranges from less than one year to four years.
