According to a new report, Jean Hackman spent his last day in separation after his wife, Betasi Arkawa, who died a week before the death of the actor at his Santa Fay County’s house in the US.
The two -time Oscar winner, Mr. Hackman, was unaware that Ms. Arkawa was dead. He was suffering from advanced Alzheimer’s. She died of a rare viral infection, huntwirus, which is caused by rodents.

Mr. Hackman had three children from the previous marriage. He and Ms. Arkawa had three dogs, two of whom were in a shelter at the time of death of couples.
