India’s Operation Sindoor issued a security warning for its citizens, the United States, a few hours after targeting terrorist camps in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK). The alert follows the former India’s former-dream strike on the nine terrorist launchpad, is believed to be operated by Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed.
The American Embassy in Pakistan has urged Americans to escape from the struggle areas, especially near the India-Pakistan Border and the Local (LOC). The region is already under the advisor issued by the US State Department due to the risk of terrorism and armed conflict. The rest of Pakistan remain under the “Rethinking Travel” advisor.
One in statement Released on Wednesday, the embassy accepted the reports of Indian military action, saying, “This is a developed position, and we are closely monitoring development.”
Advice for American citizens in Pakistan:
- If it is safe to do so, leave the areas of active conflict/military activity.
- If you cannot move, stay indoors and shelter in place.
- Be alert, take your ID, and try not to pay attention to yourself.

The advisor urged Americans to be vigilant in Pakistan, especially in the light of increasing tension after India’s pre-Khali military operations, which is called the “terror infrastructure” across the border.

The report warns against any visit to the Balochistan province, where terrorists and separatist groups have made deadly attacks on citizens, religious minorities, government buildings and security forces.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, which includes the former Union administered tribal region (FATA), is also considered highly unsafe. In the region, terrorist and rebel groups often target citizens, NGOs and government officials, the report states. These attacks often include kidnapping and murders, which targets polio workers and police officers.
In terms of crime, Islamabad has been marked as a medium-khatara region for American interest events. Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar are considered to be a high-ranking place.

What do we know about Operation Sindoor
During Operation Sindoor, at least 70 militants were killed in 24 missile strikes, which were launched on Wednesday morning. Operation targeted terrorist bases, which, according to Indian intelligence, were planning cross -border attacks. Government sources confirmed that all targets were located beyond the Line of Control (LOC), including strategic positions in Pakistan -occupied Kashmir (POK) and boundary of Pakistani regions.
