AAP leader Gopal Rai announced that the party has started the process of restructuring its core and frontal wings after the election results of the Delhi Assembly.

Gopal Rai insisted on the party’s commitment to play a strong protest role and confirmed that the oath -taking ceremony for all AAP MLAs was scheduled for February 24, after which the party would announce its leader of the opposition.

Addressing the media, Gopal Rai revealed that the AAP has held a meeting with the beer of the state office with all its major wings, including Purvanchal Wing, Auto Wing and Women’s Wing.

The meeting discussed the reorganization process going on within the party’s main wing and its other organizations to strengthen its operation.

“Today, after the results of Election (Delhi Assembly), we have held a meeting with the state office bearrs of all the AAP’s frontal organizations, in which all our major frontier organizations, purvanchal wings, auto wings, women’s wings participated today We have taken the process of restructuring the main wing.

“Our legislative party will raise its voice in the House, similarly, our wing in the society will be given the responsibility of raising its voice on those (promises made by the elected government in its manifesto) points. Mr. Rai further said, “On 24 February, all MLAs will take oath; after that, we will announce our omission.”

Mr. Rai earlier addressed a press conference, slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party, questioned his commitment to his promises, especially a financial assistance scheme of Rs 2,500 for Delhi women.

“The BJP had committed to give women Rs 2,500 in Delhi, however, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta had to announce the initiative at the first cabinet meeting, but was not announced,” Mr. Rai said.

Earlier on Friday, AAP spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar attacked the BJP for not being committed to the 2,500 Financial Assistance Scheme for Delhi women.

Kakkar alleged that the BJP is “imposing” its agenda instead of focusing on its promises as the ruling party aims to include the Competolar and Auditor General (CAG) report on February 25 during the first session of the Legislative Assembly.

He further said that the BJP did not fulfill its promises in Haryana and Maharashtra and urged the government to work on it in Delhi.

Former Delhi CM and AAP leader Atisi also targeted BJP and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, who was not approved the proposal to provide Rs 2,500 in financial assistance to women of Delhi.

He accused the BJP of breaking its promises and said that the BJP made up his mind to cheat the people of Delhi.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, who chaired the first cabinet meeting after taking oath, announced that his government would implement the Ayushman Bharat Yojana with Rs 5 lakh and will present 14 pending CAG reports to sit first of the assembly.

Addressing a press conference, he said that the Delhi government will implement the main plan of the Center in the national capital. This was a pre-promotion promise of the BJP, which targeted the AAP government for not implementing the plan.

He also announced tabling of CAG reports, which was not done by the AAP government and said that the Delhi government would pay for the top-up and sign an MoU with the Center.

In its manifesto for the Delhi Poll, the BJP said that it would implement the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, which would ensure cheap and quality healthcare for every citizen.
