Leading semiconductor chip maker Nvidia has introduced a range of RTX 40 chips worth Rs 3,00,000 crore. Which enables Indian custom computer makers to develop capable systems to accelerate video editing using Artificial Intelligence (AI). These systems specifically target studios specializing in wedding photography and videography.

Wedding videographers are often faced with the challenging task of capturing and editing a large amount of footage from multiple events in a single day. Nvidia’s RTX 40 chips offer a solution by enabling a substantial performance improvement of around 1.8x depending on the specific GPU used. This means that editing work for wedding studios gets done faster and efficiency also increases.
Nvidia’s stock has surged in recent years as its enterprise-grade AI chips like the A100 and H100 have gained popularity, powering applications developed by companies like OpenAI and Meta. Launching in October 2022, the RTX 40 series is designed for both gamers and content creators. These chips leverage AI to enhance the creative process in both professional studios and home setups.
RTX chips are known for their ability to perform complex calculations faster. Especially in the field of creating realistic lighting, shadows and reflections in videos. This capability results in more immersive visuals as everything appears more lifelike and responds realistically to user interactions.
