Indian 2 Vs Sarfira BO Collection Day 1: Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Sarafira’ has been released in theatres. The film has clashed with Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Indian 2’ at the box office, the impact of which is clearly visible on ‘Sarfira’. On the opening day itself, ‘Sarfira’ seems to be falling flat at the box office in front of ‘Indian 2’.
The initial figures of the opening day collection of ‘Indian 2’ have come out. According to Sacknilk, ‘Indian 2’ had done a business of more than Rs 13 crore in advance booking on the first day itself. Now after its release it has earned Rs 21.4 crore.
Bad condition of ‘Sarfira’ at the box office
Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Sarafira’ had collected Rs 1.41 crore in advance booking on the first day. After its release, it has earned only Rs 1.79 lakh at the box office. Let us tell you that Akshay Kumar had earlier appeared in the film ‘Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan’. This film of his also proved to be a flop on screen and now ‘Sarfira’ also does not seem to be getting a special opening.
Akshay’s film beats Kamal Haasan
Looking at the figures of ‘Indian 2’ and ‘Sarafira’, it is clear that Akshay Kumar’s film has lost in front of Kamal Haasan’s film. There is a lot of difference between the collections of both the films.
Starcast of the film
‘Sarfira’ has been directed by Sudha Kongara. Apart from Akshay Kumar, Radhika Madan, Paresh Rawal, Seema Biswas and Surya are in important roles in the film. Whereas ‘Indian 2’ has been directed by S Shankar. The film is the sequel to the 1996 film Indian. Kamal Haasan is in the lead role and Rakulpreet Singh, Siddharth and SJ Surya are also part of the film.
