America on PM Modi: When PM Modi went to Russia to meet President Putin, America had expressed concern. He had also said that America will keep an eye on PM Modi’s statements, but now America has recognized the strength of India. He has believed that only India can stop the war between Ukraine and Russia. America acknowledged that India could play an important role in ending the Ukraine-Ukraine war. America issued a statement on Wednesday saying that India, along with Russia, has the ability to convince Vladimir Putin to end the war. America has given this statement just after Modi’s two-day visit to Russia.
White House spokeswoman Karen Jean-Pierre said, we believe that India’s relationship with Russia gives us the ability to urge President Putin to end the war in Ukraine, but it is President Putin’s job to end it. Putin started the war and only he can end it.
Ukrainian President got angry when he hugged Putin
When PM Modi hugged Putin, Zelensky criticized. He called it a big blow to peace efforts. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had even called Putin a murderer. He said that when PM Modi was meeting Putin, Russian missiles were attacking Ukraine. Russia was targeting a children’s hospital in Kiev. Modi met Russian President Vladimir Putin at his residence on Monday. Russian missiles attacked Ukrainian cities on Monday morning.
PM Modi expressed concern
During his meeting with President Putin on Tuesday, PM Modi had expressed concern about the 29-month-long war in Ukraine and the people killed in it. He had mentioned the death of innocent children. The PM said that his heart breaks on the killing of innocent children. Ukraine was attacked on the same day the PM met Putin in Russia. At least 37 people were killed and 170 others were injured.
