The security audit conducted by security forces along with the border areas of Jammu and Kashmir was reviewed by Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday, in which he stressed that forces should target zero infiltration this year.
A senior official said, “The Home Minister directed all security agencies to carry forward the fight against terrorism by targeting” zero infiltration “targets.”
According to him, Mr. Shah instructed all forces to work towards “duty to share information”, better coordination was seen among various verticals managing the security grid of Jammu and Kashmir (Jammu and Kashmir). Is.
In the last one month, due to better coordination between forces, two infiltration efforts have been thwarted by forces on the ground. In such a detection, two heavy armed Lashkar militants were shot dead by the army in Poonch district last week.

At Wednesday’s meeting, the Home Minister highlighted the role of the narco network, which supports terrorist activities by funding them through drug trade. He urged the agencies to work quickly against terrorist funding, especially from drug smuggling.
In addition to dealing with terrorism, Mr. Shah directed the authorities to make appointments in Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) to implement new criminal laws more effectively.
The meeting was attended by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan, Intelligence Bureau Director Tapan Deka, DGP Nalin Prabhat and Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi.
The review comes after a deadly terrorist attack in Kulgam in South Kashmir, where ex -soldier Manzoor Ahmed Wage was killed, and his wife and niece were injured. Mr. Shah advocated and suggested forces should adopt a cruel approach to demolish over ground workers (OGW) networks.
