Analysis finds fault in ‘protra-sisters’ hypothesis



The early genealogies of hexopods (roughly defined insects) have long been debated. Researchers and colleagues at the University of Tsukuba investigated the seriously new proposed “protura-sisters” phytolanetic hypothesis. This analysis detected a fundamental defect in the hypothesis, which strengthens the validity of the already installed “Elipura” hypothesis.
