Before the marriage of Anant and Radhika, there were two pre-wedding functions, which were conducted in a very royal manner. After this, their wedding program started through mass marriage. What customs will the wedding take place in?
The marriage of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will take place with traditional Vedic Hindu customs. Both Anant and Radhika belong to Gujarati family, hence their wedding will have Gujarati rituals only. This is the reason why Anant Radhika’s marriage started through Mameru ritual. Mameru means the ritual performed at maternal uncle’s house. According to this ritual, new clothes, sweets, ivory bangles, saree, dry fruits and jewelery are brought to the bride from her maternal home. This is the first ritual in a Gujarati marriage.
