The ancient humans regularly made equipment from animal bones 1.5 million years ago – more than a million years ago. This indicates that they can customize techniques that they use to make stone appliances, which are a very different material to reproduce the bone.
It also raises the question that there is no record of people who are constantly making bone equipment for another million years. Has examples of that difference have not been preserved or discovered, or have people left them in favor of doing something better? ,
