Apple Intelligence Features in the Vision Pro Might Arrive by April

The Apple Vision Pro can allegedly get Artificial Intelligence (AI) features with the upcoming updates. According to the report, Cupertino-based tech veteran Visionos is planning to add Apple Intelligence features to the Appendic Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR) headset with 2.4 update, which is expected to roll out globally in April . In particular, a report last year claimed that the wearing device would be upgraded with AI features in 2025. Also, the headset is expected to get a new spatial content app with upgraded guest mode and update.

Apple Intelligence is allegedly coming to Vision Pro

Mark Gurman of Bloomberg claims Report Apple Intelligence features may be available to users by April, when Visionos 2.4 updates are expected to be sent. Citing anonymous people with the knowledge of the case, the report claims that new features may be rolled out in a developer beta update as soon as this week.

Gurman claimed that AI facilities along the upcoming updates would include writing equipment, genmosis and image playground apps. It appears that other features will not be available immediately to users, and they can be combined with future updates. Interestingly, this is the first time that Tech Giants have expanded Apple Intelligence in their big ecosystems. Since its launch, AI features are available only on iPhone, iPad and Macbook models.

According to the report, it was decided to expand the AI features in the Apple Vision Pro as the device is operated by the M2 chipset and has 16GB RAM, which is considered sufficient to support on-device AI processing.

The first set of Apple Intelligence features will not allegedly include AI-Purd Siri. In a separate report, Gurman claimed that virtual assistant software is facing bug and engineering issues, and AI features are not working continuously. As a result, extended Siri can become a witness to a delay.

Apart from AI, the Apple Vision Pro will also get an upgraded guest mode that will allow users to manage access and apps directly through their iPhone. Additionally, a new spatial content app is also expected to introduce the 3D images and panorama.
