Apple Updates Logic Pro App With Flashback Capture, New Sound Packs, More


Apple on Wednesday released an update for the Logic Pro app, adding several features related to music production. In-House Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) app, which is available for iPad and MAC, can now recover the previous MIDI and audio performances, even if you forget to hit the record. It also comes with an updated stem splitter that, according to the company, can expand more than the demo and chronic recording. User Logic Pro can avail two new sound packs that are claimed to help increase music production.

The new logic Pro for Mac 11.2 is available as a free update for existing users and is priced at $ 199.99 (about Rs 17,000) for new users in the US on the Mac App Store. Apple user can also take membership of the pro apps bundle for education including the final cut pro, mainstages, motion and compressors, for the same price for Standalone Logic Pro subscription.

According to Apple to use the logic Pro for Mac, Macos Sequoia 15.4 or later is required.

In a news room postApple expanded new features and reforms in the Logic Pro app after the latest update. One of the most notable additions is a characteristic called flashback capture. This allows artists to recover lost midi and audio performance, even if they have forgotten to save during sessions.

When bicycle mode is enabled, they can improve several techs and the feature will automatically classify each pass into a “tech” folder, according to Apple. This feature is asked to work using a key command or custom control bar button.

Apple says that the Logic Pro app also has an updated stem splitter. This allows users to divide and extract any audio recording into individual musical instruments such as drums, bass and vocals. Users can choose to add new parts before implementing or rebuating individual effects. After the update, the stem splitter can remove the old recording and the demo. It also adds support for guitar and piano stem. According to the company, there is also a new submix facility, which is said to be easy to export to select parts of the audio. For example, manufacturers can remove tones to create an instrumental music, or remove the drum and bass for an acoustic version of the track.

Logic Pro update also brings new sound packs. Danceflor Rush features 400 dynamic loops, punch drum kits and a custom live loop grid with drum-and-basic sounds. In addition, two other new sound packs, magnetic flaws and Tosin Abasin provide a progressive metal guitar with “essence of analog tape” and boutiques, effects and picking techniques.

Apple says that many characteristics for Mac have been specially introduced. The notepad app has received integrated support for Apple Intelligence-Seconded Writing Tools to help the creators compose music songs. New discovery and select features are also asked to find and make the track easier by their name or track number.
