Firozabad: To control the pollution caused by vehicles, governments are making new rules and laws to stop the use of old vehicles. However, the government is also giving some benefits to scrapping old vehicles to give relief to the people. Scrap centers are also being opened in many districts of UP to make people scrap their vehicles easily. Under this, now the first vehicle scrap center of the district has been started in a village in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh. With the help of administration and industry departments, old vehicles will be cut and scraped here to scrap. With this, the old vehicles will slowly go into the scrap and there will be no pollution from them.

15 year old vehicles will be put in scrap
Firozabad Industry Deputy Commissioner Dushyant Kumar told Local 18 that the ARTO office has banned the running of more than 15 years of vehicles. The ban was imposed, but there was no system to cut old vehicles or put them in scrap. In view of this, the initiative started by the Firozabad Industries Department to set up a vehicle scrapping center in Narkhi and in February 2023, an MoU was signed in UP Global Investors. 15 crore MoUs were signed for separate scraping centers here. Now the first vehicle scrap center is ready in Bartra Road of Narkhi village. More than five crore has been spent to prepare it. Trial of machines installed in it has also been done. Through this, it will help a lot in cutting old vehicles. The Firozabad vehicle scraping center firm has also signed an MoU to set up a center of 10 crore in Lalu.

Vehicles will be deducted at a rate of Rs 22.50 per kg
All old vehicle will be cut by machines at the vehicle scrap center set up near Narkhi village in Firozabad and the vehicle owner will also get its price. Vehicles will be scraped at this scrap center at Rs 22.50 per kg or say that it will be cut. Its amount will be sent to the account of the concerned vehicle owner. The vehicle owner will also get a tax discount on purchasing a new vehicle after cutting the vehicle at this scrap center.
