Asthram follows a detective named Akilan, who examines a series of suicides, on his medical leave. However, what is unusual is the pattern of these suicides, where each has wounds. As he investigates, he begins to make a relationship between a chess player and some ancient rituals. Later, he begins to highlight some disturbing facts behind the murder, in relation to some frightening. Is the truth strong?
