Australia has lifted travel sanctions for Assam, while Germany is in the process of modifying its advice. However, there will be a ban for four districts – Tinsukia, Charideio, Shivasagar, and Dibrugar – where the Disturbed Area Act has been implemented still due to the presence of the Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act or AFSPA.

Global delegation for a visit to Assam
